A Nigerian couple based in Akure has spark reaction on social media over their unique choice of outfit to the court wedding in Akure South Local Government in Ondo state.

Contrary to the other couple, the man and his bride decided to appear for their marriage registry wearing casual outfits to mark their marital union.

The lady had appeared wearing a black and white short dress while her groom wore a coordinated shirt and shorts with palm slippers. The couple weren’t dressed stylishly but chose modesty instead.

The couple’s inspired wedding outfit has triggered differing opinions as netizens suggest their appearance was a choice. Many opine that the clothes made no difference after all they were legally hitched.

While some speculate that expensive wedding sometimes doesn’t last forever, others congratulate the newly wedded couple.
