The Mandate Movement, a pro-democracy group, has commended President Tinubu for his unwavering commitment to democracy and his vigorous efforts in rebuilding Nigeria.
Celebrating its 25th anniversary at the Police Ground in Ikeja, Lagos, the group highlighted Tinubu’s pivotal contributions and the significant progress made in the past year under his leadership.
Enilolobo also lauded President Tinubu’s pivotal role in championing democracy, praising his unwavering dedication and sacrifices during the nation’s darkest times. He hailed Tinubu as a beacon of hope and a symbol of Nigeria’s enduring spirit.
Reflecting on the past year under Tinubu’s leadership, Enilolobo highlighted key achievements across various sectors. Notable milestones included the introduction of student loans, infrastructure projects like the Lagos-Calabar Highway, and efforts to enhance transparency in the Central Bank.
“The strides made by President Tinubu’s administration are a testament to our collective determination to build a better Nigeria,” Enilolobo affirmed.
He commended the administration’s proactive measures in combating oil theft and revitalizing the oil sector, signaling a new era of stability and progress.

Many political and spiritual leaders who spoke at the event gave their goodwill messages, praising those who fought for democracy and praying for the progress of the nation.
In his closing remarks, Hon. Sesan Sobande, the All Progressives Congress Pioneer Deputy National Youth Leader, thanked God for the grace of a rain-free day and appreciated everyone who contributed to the success of the rally. He particularly thanked the teeming members of TMM for their support over the past 25 years for Mr. President and the sustenance of the hard-earned democratic rule in the country.
He further spoke about the activities of a few powerful individuals in the party and government attempting to parallel TMM. He said TMM, under the leadership of Abdullah Ayinde Enilolobo, is waiting for instruction from the President on party candidates for the next gubernatorial and senatorial elections.
Hon. Sobande added that the rally was funded by the ordinary members of the group across the 57 LGA/LCDA without any support from any Council Chairman, Councillor, House of Assembly member, House of Representatives member, Senator, or Governor.
According to him, it is only God that has been helping the survival of the group. “We only have God and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
We urge the President to take immediate action to reverse the concerning trend of marginalization and victimization of members of the largest caucus of the Lagos APC at both state and federal levels. This is essential to prevent disharmony within the party.”
