The Nigerian correctional service, Niger State Command, gets a new controller of corrections, in the person of CC. Maikudi Garba Adamu, psc.
A seasoned correctional officer who has served in many different positions, including officer in charge at several custodial formations across the country, which include the Kaduna zonal office and the Sokoto state command headquarters, among others.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education (BB. Ed.) and a Masters in Public Policy and Administration (MPPA) from Bayero University, Kano.
Until his recent posting to Niger State as the 25th controller of the command, CC Maikudi Garba was the controller and principal of Bostal Training Institute Kano.
He took over the mantle of leadership from his predecessor, CC. Mohammed Hamisu Isa fdc, who was transferred to Zone’B’ headquarters in Kaduna as zonal coordinator (CD).
The newly posted controller and the Number One (1.) Correctional Officer in the state assumed duties on Friday, the 31st day of May, 2024.
