The Raheem Sterling Foundation envisions a world where young people will always have the support they need in the pursuit of improving their opportunities, their future careers and their quality of life.
Through his charitable organisation, Raheem Sterling is dedicated to helping those from disadvantaged backgrounds break down barriers to success, find their voice, and realise their true potential in the world.
The scholarships are for 3 years and are subject to satisfactory academic progress. If you undertake a year abroad or an industrial placement year these will need to be self-funded. This can include taking out Student Finance. If you study a degree longer than three years, additional years will also need to be self-funded.
If you do not make satisfactory academic progress, and you need to repeat a year of your studies, this will not be paid for by the scholarship and you will need to self-fund. This can include taking out Student Finance.
Successful recipients must be willing to report annually on their progress at King’s to the Raheem Sterling Foundation.
Benefits
The Raheem Sterling Scholarship will cover the course tuition fees and a stipend.
The award will be paid in the form of an annual fee waiver for the amount of £9,250 per student and a stipend for the amount of £7,000 per student. The award is for a maximum of three years. Students will not receive funding for repeat years, a year abroad or interruptions.
