Ikeja Electric Distribution Company (IE) has announced a reduction in its electricity tariff for customers under Band A, lowering it from N225/kWh to N206.80/kWh.
In a circular posted on its “X” page on Monday, the company’s management stated that customers in this category will now be charged N206.80/kWh instead of the previous N225/kWh rate set by the Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC).

The statement assured customers under Band A of receiving 20 to 24 hours of electricity daily. It also mentioned that the tariff for customers in other categories will remain unchanged.
The circular read: “Dear Esteemed Customers, Please be informed of the downward tariff review of our Band A feeders from N225/kWh to N206.80/kWh effective 6th May 2024 with guaranteed availability of 20-24hrs supply daily.”
