Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has provided two reasons for the team’s dip in performances.
The Gunners began 2024 on a brilliant note, winning 11 matches and drawing one, before back-to-back losses.
Arteta’s men lost 2-0 at home to Aston Villa and lost 1-0 to Bayern Munich in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final.
The Spaniard has blamed himself as well as the quality of their opposition.
“Sometimes it’s the opponent. The opponents play very good and you have to congratulate them.
“Sometimes it will be my fault as well, not changing anything or making the right call,” he said at a press conference on Friday.
Arsenal travel to Wolves on Saturday in their next league fixture.
