The Department of State Services (DSS) on Friday felicitated with the Christian faithful on the celebration of Easter and urged citizens to eschew bitterness, disloyalty, fake news, hate speech, and violence.
This was contained in a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja by the Spokesperson of the Service, Dr. Peter Afunanya, Director of Public Relations and Strategic Communications.
According to the statement, the Service reminded citizens to use the event, which illustrates sacrifice and forgiveness, to refocus their love for one another, the nation, and humanity at large.
It urged citizens to adopt self-control, discipline, and compassion in their dealings and conduct, and to eschew bitterness, disloyalty, fake news, hate speech, and violence.
