Lobi Stars head coach, Eugene Agagbe remains optimistic of his team’s title chances despite the disappointing home draw with Bayelsa United on Sunday.
The Pride of Benue played out a 1-1 draw against Bayelsa United at the Lafia City Stadium.
Agagbe said the team will work on the errors identified in the encounter ahead of their upcoming matches.
“Well, I will not say I am completely disappointed because it is part of the game,” he told Lobi Stars Media.
“We defeated them (Bayelsa United) in their home. They came all out to play in this match to avoid another defeat.
“I’m disturbed that we lost focus at that critical moment and conceded that goal. But I don’t like blaming players because the same players will give me good results tomorrow.
“Mistakes made would be corrected. So, we would go back to the drawing board to fix the errors so as to have a good game in the next away match.”
Lobi Stars dropped down to second position in the NPFL table following the draw.
They will travel to Lagos for their next game against Sporting Lagos.
