Real Madrid goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, looks set to miss the rest of the season.
The Belgian was forced to leave training on Tuesday, after suffering a fresh knee injury.
Marca reports that Courtois left training in tears and tests later revealed that he had suffered a torn meniscus in his right knee.
Courtois has already missed the entire season, after tearing the ACL in his left knee back in August.
He avoided a repeat of the same problem, but surgery is still likely to repair the meniscus damage.
Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, was expecting Courtois back after the March international break, but now it looks set to be 2024/25 before he is back on a football pitch.
Andriy Lunin will continue to deputise for the former Chelsea stopper.
