Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed has sympathised with the family of late Alhaji Muhammadu Bababa Ibrahim Hamza, former District Head of Darazo, who passed away last week.
The governor described the former district head’s passing as a great loss to Darazo and Bauchi Emirate Council.
Mohammed, who led top government officials on a condolence visit to the late district head’s palace in Darazo on Sunday, described him as a reliable and respected traditional ruler who worked for the best interest of his people and Bauchi Emirate.
Extending condolences on behalf of the Government of Bauchi State, Mohammed offered special prayers to the deceased, calling on his family not to relent in praying for him.
According to him, the deceased has exhibited a high sense of patriotism and maturity in the management of the district, adding that he would be remembered for his good deeds.
Responding, the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu, represented by Madakin Bauchi, Dr Baba Gidado, expressed gratitude to the governor for the condolence visit and prayed Almighty Allah to reward him abundantly.
