The management of Lagos State University, Ojo, has announced the mobilisation of its students for batch A, stream 2 for the three-week orientation of the mandatory National Youth Service Corps.
This was according to a statement by the institution’s Students’ Affairs Division on its X handle (formerly Twitter) on Friday.
In the statement titled ‘Important Information For Graduates Proceeding On National Youth Service Corps’, the management noted that eligible corps members are to check for their NYSC details on the portal for the 2024 Batch A stream 2 mobilisation.
It added that the information needed for successful registration for the exercise had been provided on the portal.
The statement read, “The Students’ Affairs Division hereby advise all prospective corps members to check their details on the NYSC portal for the 2024 Batch A Stream 2 mobilisation exercise.
“All graduates are also enjoined to ensure that the date of graduation on the NYSC portal is the same as that on their Notification of Results/Certificates.”
It added, “Any discrepancy should be reported at the Students’Affairs Division immediately. Prospective corps members are to present their registration slip, notification of result, and school identity card at the Students’ Affairs Division for sighting, before proceeding to the NYSC Orientation Camp to avoid rejection at the camp.
“Graduates of Lagos State University are also advised to print their self-generated notification of result(s) on plain white paper to achieve uniformity in the document(s).”
