Oraimo continues to deliver surprisingly capable true wireless earbuds at affordable price points. With frequent model updates and improvements, it can be challenging to keep track of their lineup. Our comprehensive Oraimo TWS Buying Guide for 2024 breaks down the best choices, whether you prioritize long battery life, booming bass, or the latest noise cancellation technology.
Oraimo Freepods 3C
These look and feel alot like the Freepods 3, arguably one of the best buds in that lineup. They feature the same detachable tips that enable what Oraimo calls Environmental Noise Cancellation but includes support for the Oraimo Sound app so you can customize the controls, EQ and more.

These come with 8 hours on a single charge and 28 additional hours with the charging case. A quick 10-minute charge gives you 140 minutes of listening time.
The oraimo FreePods 3c are fantastic true wireless earbuds that offer a lot for their price point. If you want powerful sound, clear calls, and the flexibility to adjust your listening experience, the FreePods 3C are a great choice.
These also come with IPX5 Water Resistance against Sweat- and splashes for workouts and light rain. HavyBass Sound, Oraimo’s special algorithm and 13mm drivers provide powerful bass along with clear mids and highs.
Oraimo Airbuds 4
Features
- Superb Sound Quality: The AirBuds 4 come with 6mm composite diaphragm drivers and Oraimo’s special HavyBass™ tech. This means you’ll get deep, powerful bass that’s perfect for music lovers.
- Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC): ENC technology helps to block out background noise during calls. This makes your conversations much clearer, even in noisy settings.
- Long Battery Life: Get up to 7 hours of playback time on a single charge and an additional 31 hours with the charging case. A quick 10-minute charge gives you an extra 90 minutes of music time.
- Instant Pairing: The earbuds automatically pair with your device as soon as you open the case.
- Bluetooth 5.3 & Game Mode: Enjoy a stable connection and super-low latency audio & video sync for gaming.
- IPX4 Waterproof: Resistant to sweat and splashes, so you can use them when working out or in light rain.
These buds stand out from the competition with the inclusion of a display that indicates the charge state for the case and the two buds. This is a welcome feature that is more user friendly than having to dig into your phone’s Bluetooth settings or to just guess the amount of juice you have left.
Omission of Active Noise Cancellation is a missed opportunity in my opinion but then for Ksh 2500 ($18), can you really fault them?

Oraimo Riff 2
Oraimo Riff 2 are a pair of true wireless earbuds that promise an enjoyable listening experience, offers balanced bass and crisp treble.
Riff 2 offers longer playtime (30 hours) compared to the predecessor, the Oraimo Riff (4.5 hours on a single charge). The case provides an additional 12 hours of playtime for the Riff.
Both models feature a half-in-ear design for comfort. The Riff 2’s translucent case adds a touch of style. The Riff 2 has a 4-mic environment noise cancellation (ENC) technology filters out background noise during calls. This means you can have crystal-clear conversations, even in windy conditions.

Oraimo FreePods Lite
The Freepods Lite are the most affordable buds in the lineup. They lack many of the higer end features such as ANC but include the essentials like IPX4 and throw in fast charging and low latency for gaming and you have a decent pair of buds with you.
2-mic ENC (environmental noise cancellation) technology ensures crystal-clear voice quality during calls as ambient sounds are filtered out, allowing your voice to come through clearly.
The translucent design allows you to see inside the stem, adding a touch of style. With a single charge, the FreePods Lite offers up to 8 hours of playtime. The charging case extends this to an impressive total of 40 hours.
The FreePods Lite provides a decent sound quality for its price range. While it may not match premium earbuds, it delivers a satisfactory audio experience.
Honorable Mentions
- The Freepods Pro – launched back in 2021 and went toe to toe against Apple’s Freepods and they traded blows. But it didn’t sell very well. If you don’t mind an ageing beast, Oraimo FreePods Pro offers a compelling package of features, including ANC, long battery life, and clear sound quality, all at around KES 5000.
- Oraimo Spacepods – These are essentially rebranded versions of the Freepods 4 even though Oraimo will insist that they’re their own distinct model. They offer a different paint job and that’s pretty much it. They look cool though.
- Special Edition: SpacePods “Moonlight Edition” Tuned by Burna Boy (Collector’s Item?) – In collaboration with Burna Boy, the SpacePods now come in a special edition. These earbuds offer an impressive 36-hour music-listening experience (ANC off) and 26 hours (ANC on)
Conclusion
Oraimo continues to set the pace for accessory makers in this neck of the woods, making a name for themselves as the go-to brand for such products. The reputation of best value foe money brand, and high quality products means you won’t go wrong getting any of these.
