Nigeria defender, Zaidu Sanusi underwent a successful surgery on his knee at a hospital in Sao Francisco, Porto on Monday, Arogidigba Global Journal reports.
The surgery, according to Portuguese website, A Bola, was supervised by Professor Jose Carlos Noronha.
Sanusi sustained the injury in FC Porto’s league clash against Estrela da Amadora two weeks ago.
The left-back is expected to be sidelined for around eight months.
The 26-year-old will return to action at the start of next season.
