Nigeria’s Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, on Monday arrived Enugu State to inaugurate some projects.
Shettima, who arrived the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu at 9.52 am with a Presidential Jet 5N-FGW, was received by Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu Enugu, Hope Uzodimma of Imo, Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra and Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi.
Others are Senator Rochas Okorocha, former Secretary to the Federal Government, Anyim Pius Anyim, traditional rulers, government officials and many Southeast dignitaries.
The visit is Shettima’s first to the Southeast since he assumed office on May 29, 2023.
He is expected to attend the Southeast Business Roundtable and the formal launch of the Southeast phase of the Light Up Nigeria Project.
The VP is also expected to inaugurate the Aba Integrated Power Project floated by Geometric Power Limited.
