Rangers U-17 prodigy Chimaobi Igwilo has set his sights on winning the maiden edition of the Nigeria Premier Football League youth league.
Igwilo believed that the Young Antelopes had the quality to achieve success in the playoffs.
He, however, admitted that it wouldn’t be an easy feat to achieve without hard work.
“We have been working very hard to ensure that we represent our state very well in the national playoff in Benin,” he told Rangers media.
“It is going to be a tough championship, but by God’s grace, we shall celebrate at the end of the competition.”
Rangers will battle with Plateau United, Remo Stars, Katsina United and Rivers United for the top prize.
The championship playoffs are scheduled to kick off at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City, on February 23.
Rangers will face Katsina United in their opening game of the competition on February 26.
