In the face of the hardship confronting Nigeria, the Catholic Archbishop of Kaduna Diocese, Most Rev. Matthew Man-Oso Ndagoso, has blamed President Bola Tinubu for the manner he removed the subsidy on fuel.
Ndagoso said Tinubu should have removed the fuel subsidy gradually and not like a time bomb.
Addressing journalists at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cathedral in Kaduna, he urged Tinubu to wake up and do the needful before all Nigerians die of hunger.
Ndagoso also blamed the economic hardship on government’s bad policies.
According to Ndagoso: “Nigerians are suffering and all of these sufferings are avoidable. But they impose bad policies. Tinubu’s policies have compounded the problems.
“Anyone who cares about Nigeria shouldn’t have removed subsidy, Tinubu should have done it gradually and not like bomb blast,” he said.
He said that Nigeria has never had it so bad before, stressing that ineffective leaders were the major problem Nigeria was having.
