United Kingdom business investor Rishi Harani has underscored the need to nurture and leverage talents in Nigeria to tackle national problems.
Harani made this disclosure at the Stability and Sustenance Summit held in Abuja recently where addressed the youths in the country to embrace skills and entrepreneurship, according to a statement.
During his address to the youth at the summit, Harani was quoted as expressing his delight at the impressive talent exhibited by Nigerian youths.
This came as the UK investor made his inaugural visit to the African continent, further acknowledging the potential for positive change through harnessing the rich pool of skills and innovation in Nigeria.
As the Founder and CEO of Univesco Limited, a UK-based global investment banking and asset management company, Harani urged Nigerian youths to embrace skills and entrepreneurship.
He highlighted the need for fostering strong business relationships across sectors and borders to drive sustainable development.
Harani said, “It is important that these incredible talents are honed, harnessed, and put to professional business use to solve the myriads of challenges facing the country.”
He added, “We at Univesco, are ready to mentor, collaborate and provide a veritable international platform to help scale the businesses of Nigerian youths.”
While describing the warm reception accorded him in Abuja, Rishi mentioned the utmost hospitality of Nigerians from the airport to the hotel and all around the city which has not only prompted him to want to take road trips to many parts of the country but inspired him to return for a visit to all 54 other countries in Africa.
