President Bola Tinubu on Thursday approved the appointment and reappointment of board chairpersons and chief executive officers under the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.
A statement issued by the president’s spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, said the development followed the determination of the present government to bring world-class standards to Nigerian public health administration.
According to the statement, the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, has Dr Mansur Kabir as its board chairman and Prof. Moji Adeyeye as its chief executive officer.
President Tinubu also approved the appointment of Dr Olajide Idris as the new chief executive officer for the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.
