A fire outbreak was on Monday recorded along the Ado-Ajah Road, Lagos.
According to the Director, Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Margaret Adeseye, in a statement signed on Monday evening, the fire engulfed a series of makeshift furniture stalls along the road.
The statement said, “Fire involved a chain of make-shift furniture stalls along the road affecting 5 by 40ft containers stored of dredging materials and equipments belonging to a nearby foreign dredging company.
“The Fire has been curtailed as mop up exercise continue to wrap up operations”
The cause of the fire is yet unknown.
