Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, is expected to undergo a scan to ascertain the extent of the injury he suffered against Cameroon.
Arogidigba Global Journal reports Nwabali sustained a knee injury in the game after colliding with Cameroon winger, Georges Nkoudou.
Omonia Nicosia’s Francis Uzoho took his place 10 minutes from time after he was stretchered off the pitch.
Nwabali has around a week to recover from the injury, with the Super Eagles quarter-final tie against Angola coming up next Friday.
The Super Eagles booked a date with the Black Antelopes after edging past Cameroon 2-0 in their Round of 16 fixture on Saturday.
