Porn star-turned-actress Jesse Jane has been found dead along with her boyfriend of a suspected drug overdose, according to a report on Thursday, Jan. 25.
The bodies of Jane, 43, and Brett Hasenmueller were discovered by officers at a home in Moore, Oklahoma, Wednesday, Jan. 24, during a welfare check requested by Hasenmueller’s boss, TMZ said.
It was unclear how long the two had been deceased, according to the outlet, which said the deaths were apparently “drug-related.”
Jane, born Cindy Howell in Fort Worth, Texas, appeared in more than 100 pornographic movies around the turn of the century and eventually became a host on Playboy TV.
She became a huge fixture in the porn world, hosted several award shows, including the AVN Awards multiple times, and she launched successful sex toy lines as well.
Outside of adult entertainment, Jesse made some appearances in mainstream films as well, including ‘Starsky & Hutch,’ a guest role on ‘Entourage,’ and even an appearance on ‘The Bad Girls Club.’ In 2009, she was part of a CNBC doc called ‘Porn: Business of Pleasure’ — which showed what her life was like behind the scenes, and away from cameras.
In 2018, she was arrested for public intoxication in Norma, Okla., and two years later, police busted her for allegedly biting and beating up her boyfriend during a night of heavy drinking in Moore.
She is survived by her one son.
