Enyimba has urged the club’s supporters not to panic following their back-to-back defeats in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
The People’s Elephant lost to Plateau United in a matchday 18 fixture and followed with a 2-1 defeat in the rescheduled matchday 12 tie against Katsina United.
Enyimba’s media officer, David Orji, assured that the team will continue to work hard in subsequent NPFL games.
The nine-time NPFL champions will be in action against Shooting Stars in Ibadan on Sunday.
“There is no cause for worry from the Supporters,” he told Arogidigba Global Journal.
“It was a great game, the boys gave it their all. Sadly it wasn’t the result we wanted but we move unto the next game and keep working hard.”
