The Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone One Headquarters, Kano, Umar Mamman Sanda, has expressed satisfaction with the level of coordination and professionalism demonstrated by the Police and personnel of the Police Service Commission in the screening of candidates.
SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, Police Public Relations Officer, Kano State, in a statement, said the AIG Sanda made the observations during an assessment of officers at the ongoing 2022/2023 Police Constable screening exercise.
The statement said the AIG visited to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the screening processes and the facilities being used for the exercise.
He emphasized the importance of maintaining the highest standards of transparency, integrity, and fairness throughout the recruitment process.
The AIG reaffirmed the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to uphold the principles of transparency and meritocracy in all recruitment activities, ensuring that qualified individuals are given equal opportunities to serve in the Force.
The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Mohammed Usaini Gumel, who was also on the entourage, expressed that the Kano Police Command remains resolute in its dedication to executing the recruitment process with utmost diligence and in accordance with established guidelines.
