Professor of political economy, Pat Utomi, has lashed out at the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, and its supporters over alleged cyber attacks and online threats.
Utomi warned that engaging with the party’s online supporters, also known as APC data boys, was an insult to his integrity.
This is as tensions run high ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Utomi, on Sunday, in a post on his X handle, insisted that he would not waste his time arguing with individuals paid to defend the Tinubu government online.
“2027: Engaging APC data boys, insult to my integrity,” he said.
According to him, Nigeria’s problems are beyond social media propaganda and require serious intellectual engagement.
Utomi explained that he was focused on real issues affecting Nigeria and not online attacks.
Recall that Utomi has been one of the major critics of the Bola Tinubu-led Federal Government.
