Rolls Royce in partnership with 12 universities in the United Kingdom (UK), provides support to 500 PhDs and 800 research staff at any one time across a wide range of disciplines.
The scholarship includes fully funded PhD projects that covers tuition fees, and a stipend up to £25,518 per year for four years.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the Rolls Royce Scholarship, you must:
- Have at least a first or upper-second class degree in mechanical, electronic, electrical or computer engineering, manufacturing, materials science, computer science, or physics.
- Graduates finishing their studies in July 2027 are also eligible.
The scholarship is for;
- Passionate, inquisitive and enthusiastic applicants from a wide range of backgrounds, experiences and skills that want to make a difference and further develop their professional, research and personal skills.
- Applicants with a strong interest in research covering engineering, science, technology, net zero, environmental, sustainability, social, economic and commercial aspects along with their interactions.
- Graduates, early career researchers and technologists as well as professionals with degrees or relevant work experience including engineering, materials, manufacturing, transport, science, maths, computing, social sciences or environmental topics.
