The German Government (DAAD) in partnership with the Charité – Universitätsemedizin Berlin has opened applications for the fully funded Masters program in International Health.
The International Health DAAD EPOS Scholarship provides funding that covers the scholar’s tuition, €11,904 living stipend, accommodation, travel allowance, and health insurance.
Requirements
To be considered for the DAAD EPOS Scholarship for MSc International Health, you must:
- be from low- and middle-income countries
- have completed an academic degree (240ECTS/4 years) with far above average results (upper third)
- have at least two years of related professional experience after the first degree (Bachelor) at the time of application are eligible for a DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) scholarship. The applicant’s last academic degree must be less than six years old at the time of application.
- fulfil the necessary academic requirements and can be expected to successfully complete a study programme in Germany.
- prove your motivation is development-related and be expected to take on social responsibility and initiate and support processes of change in your personal and professional environment after the training/scholarship.
Benefits
The International Health DAAD EPOS Scholarship covers;
- Monthly payment of 992 euros for graduates or 1,300 euros (1,400 euros beginning with February 2026) for doctoral candidates
- Payments towards health, accident and personal liability insurance cover
- Travel allowance, unless these expenses are covered by the home country or another source of funding
Under certain circumstances, scholarship holders may receive the following additional benefits:
- Monthly rent subsidy
- Monthly allowance for accompanying members of family
