Delegations from Taraba State government on Friday engaged European business executives and prospective investors in Istanbul, Türkiye to boost development and create jobs for people in the state.
The engagement, according to the delegation, aligned with governor Agbu Kefas’ administration Moving Forward Agenda and the recently launched Taraba Regional Development Plan.
In a statement by Hon. Justin Aondoaseer Tyopuusu, Special Adviser to the Governor on Digital Economy, said the delegation showcased the State’s investment opportunities in agriculture, agro-processing, value-chain development, natural resources and other emerging sectors, while exploring partnerships to attract private investment, create jobs and strengthen local production.
The statement expressed that Taraba is open for business, partnerships and sustainable investment; just as the delegation is expected to proceed to Spain for further discussions with prospective investors before returning to Nigeria.
The delegation comprises the immediate past Commissioner for Trade, Commerce and Industry, Hon. Peter George, and the Special Adviser to the Governor on Digital Economy, Hon. Justin Aondoaseer Tyopuusu.
