The University of New England (UNE), in partnership with Cogninet Australia, has announced an exciting scholarship opportunity for students interested in advancing machine learning applications in healthcare and education.
The University of New England Scholarship covers tuition fees, a living stipend of $36,862 per year, and the Single Overseas Health Cover for international candidates.
Requirements
To be considered for the 2027 University of New England HDR Scholarship, you must:
- Hold a relevant Bachelor’s degree.
- Demonstrate proficiency in English Language.
- Be available for industry collaboration and professional training.
- Meet the entry requirements of the university.
Preference will be given to candidates who can study on campus, though online options may also be considered.
Benefits
- The annual stipend value is $37,746 per annum (2025-26 rate) tax-free which is paid to the candidate in fortnightly instalments.
- The scholarship is tenable for three years and six months (3.5) full-time for a doctoral degree.
- The scholarship will also cover tuition fees and Single Overseas Health Cover for International candidates.
