President Bola Tinubu on Monday declared that Imo State is safe and ready for business.
Tinubu disclosed this in Owerri while speaking at the second-term inauguration ceremony of Governor Hope Uzodimma.
He said the state that has been battling insecurity is safe and ready for business.
According to Tinubu: “Imo is safe and ready for business.”
The president commended people of Imo State for reelecting Uzodimma for a second term.
He described Uzodinma as a very hard-working governor and commended him for his progressive agenda for the state.
He assured that the state has actually gotten a good and dependable democrat, who would always think about their welfare.
Lately, Imo State has been a theatre of violence and kidnapping allegedly linked to Biafra agitators and unknown gunmen.
Despite allegations, the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, had denied involvement in these incidents.
