Super Falcons defender, Oluwatosin Demehin has joined Portuguese champions, Benfica, Arogidigba Global Journal reports.
Demehin, 24, put pen to paper on a three-year contract with the six-time Portuguese champions.
The centre-back previously played for Turkish giants, Galatasaray.
The Nigerian explained the reason behind her decision to join Benfica.
“Benfica is the best club in Portugal and one of the best clubs in the world.
“Therefore, I know that being here, I can improve my performance,” Demehin told BTV.
Demehin played for Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, clubs, Sunshine Queens and Rivers Angels before moving abroad.
She started her professional career in France with Stade Reims.
