Throwback videos of social media influencer and luxury goods dealer Afolabi Kazeem Michael, popularly known as KC Luxury, have resurfaced online following his arrest by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.
The videos, which have been trending on social media since his arrest was announced by the NDLEA on Tuesday, show the influencer displaying his collection of luxury cars, expensive watches and other high-value possessions.
In one of the videos, KC Luxury spoke about two Mercedes-Maybachs designed by the late designer, Virgil Abloh.
“I don’t think anybody has serial number 001 Maybach Virgil Ablohs. That aside. I don’t think anybody has two Virgil Ablohs of the 150,” he said.
Another throwback clip showed him overlooking a fleet of exotic cars as he reflected on the luxury lifestyle.
“When you look at the car you drive from upstairs, are you proud? Are you excited? Does it give you joy?” he asked.
In another video, the social media personality spoke about the people around him, complaining about a lack of support despite receiving advice.
“99% advisors, zero helper. Everybody’s an advisor, but when it’s time to help, zero helper. Everybody take off,” he said.
Videos from his Snapchat account, kayceeluxury, also showed him displaying expensive watches and other luxury items.
One of the clips featured him with Nigerian music star, Wizkid.
The resurfaced posts have drawn renewed attention following the NDLEA’s announcement of his arrest in connection with an alleged international cocaine trafficking cartel.
According to the agency, KC Luxury was arrested at the boarding gate of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, on August 13, 2026, after intelligence indicated that he planned to leave Nigeria on a business-class flight to Paris.
The NDLEA said he was allegedly the Nigerian arrowhead of a cartel involved in moving cocaine from South America through Nigeria to the United Kingdom, other parts of Europe and Asia.
The agency said the investigation followed the interception of 184.50kg of cocaine concealed for export through a courier logistics channel in Lagos.
It described the seizure as the largest cocaine seizure made through a courier company in Nigeria.
Following his arrest, the NDLEA said a search of his luxury apartment on Banana Island, Ikoyi, Lagos, led to the recovery of exotic vehicles.
The agency also said he was found at the airport with €7,750, £2,800 and N100,000 in cash, alongside expensive jewellery.
The resurfaced videos have therefore sparked renewed interest in the lavish lifestyle KC Luxury frequently showcased online before his arrest.
