Business executives, legal practitioners, regulators and investors will converge on July 30 to examine strategies for strengthening Nigeria’s economy and positioning the country as Africa’s leading investment destination.
The symposium, organised by Streamsowers & Köhn, is themed, “Nigeria’s Path to Economic Resilience and Investment Leadership in a Volatile Global Environment.”
According to a statement by the organisers on Saturday, the event will provide a platform for key stakeholders from the public and private sectors to examine practical solutions to the economic, legal and regulatory challenges affecting investment inflows into the country.
The organisers said the dialogue was expected to generate recommendations that will help strengthen the country’s investment climate and improve investor confidence at a time of increasing global economic uncertainty.
The symposium, organised to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Streamsowers & Köhn, will also spotlight the opportunities presented by the African Continental Free Trade Area, with discussions expected to focus on how Nigeria can maximise the benefits of the regional trade agreement to drive economic growth and competitiveness.
