The campaign of Omoyele Sowore has launched the SoworeNow mobile application as its official supporter platform for the 2027 presidential election under the African Action Congress (AAC).
The AAC presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, disclosed this in a video announcement on his official Instagram account #yelesho on Thursday.
He partly said, “Felllow Nigerians, real change begins with action and action begins with you.
“That is why we launched the SoworeNow app, with this app you can get verified campaign updates, you can join rallies and connect with other supporters to promote the movement.”
Launched in July 2026, the application is designed as a digital hub to connect supporters, mobilise volunteers and coordinate grassroots activities across Nigeria as the campaign prepares for the 2027 polls.
According to information released, the app provides users with verified campaign news, official statements and daily briefings on the 2027 movement.
It also includes Movement AI, an artificial intelligence feature that allows users to ask questions about the campaign in multiple languages.
The application also enables supporters to locate and participate in political rallies, receive event reminders and interact with other verified supporters through a moderated community platform.
Among its other features is a peer-to-peer data support network, through which users can request internet data assistance from fellow supporters.
The app also incorporates election-related tools, including features for reporting alleged election malpractices, registering as polling unit agents and tracking live election collation.
For members of the AAC, the platform offers digital membership cards that can be accessed by linking an official AAC membership ID.
Users can also earn points for regular engagement with the application through a gamified rewards system.
“The application is entirely free, contains no third-party tracking, and can be downloaded through the official mobile marketplaces.” the release concluded.
