The African Democratic Congress, ADC, presidential running mate, Rotimi Amaechi, on Monday visited former Kogi West Senator, Dino Melaye.
Announcing this via his X handle, Melaye said Amaechi was on a courtesy visit to his house in Abuja.
He wrote: “Governor Rotimi Ameachi on a courtesy visit to SDM today. Arise and Shine.”
However, as at the time for filing this report, details of the meeting was not made public.
Amaechi was named as the presidential running mate to ADC flagbearer, Atiku Abubakar.
This followed his loss in the ADC presidential primary election, in which he came second.
Amaechi and the third placed candidate, Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, had alleged fraud in the primary election that saw the emergence of Atiku as ADC’s presidential candidate.
After the primary, Atiku visited Amaechi and Hayatu-Deen, urging them to team up with him ahead of the 2027 elections.
