Ekiti: Tinubu’s bold reforms created environment for Oyebanji’s victory – RHA

…says APC must reclaim Osun 

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), a forum galvanising support for a fresh mandate for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, who earned a fresh mandate in the weekend off-season governorship election.

Governor Oyebanji of the All Progressives Congress polled 319,224 votes to defeat his closest rival and candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Honourable Dare Bejide, who polled 40, 533.

The RHA, in a statement by its director of media & publicity, Tunde Rahman, declared that the outcome of the election “reflects strong confidence in Governor Oyebanji’s Shared Prosperity Agenda and its alignment with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope vision for Nigeria.”

The Party also noted that President Tinubu’s “bold reforms and policies created the enabling environment for victory at the polls.”

The RHA media director also commended the South-west Zonal Coordinator of the Forum, Dayo Adeyeye; the Imo State Governor and Director-General of the RHA, Senator Hope Uzodinma; his Deputy and Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani; and other members of the group “for their relentless efforts towards the victory of the All Progressives Congress in the election.”

The statement further urged the party chieftains to start to prepare for the victory of the APC candidate in Osun State, Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, ahead of the August governorship election in the South-west State.

The statement read, “The Renewed Hope Ambassadors heartily congratulate Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on his landslide victory in Saturday’s Ekiti State governorship election.

“We also congratulate the South-west Zonal Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, who is also the Chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority, Chief Dayo Adeyeye; the Ekiti State Coordinator; and 16 Local Government Coordinators on this victory. 

“We applaud the people of Ekiti State for a peaceful, transparent, and well-attended poll. 

“The RH Ambassadors commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whose bold reforms and policies created the enabling environment for victory at the polls.

“The Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma; the Deputy Director-General, Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State; the Secretary, Governor Mohammed Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe, and other governors also deserve commendation for their relentless efforts towards the victory of the All Progressives Congress in the election.

“The decision of the Ekiti people reflects strong confidence in Governor Oyebanji’s Shared Prosperity Agenda and its alignment with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope vision for Nigeria.

“As Renewed Hope Ambassadors, our work has only just begun. We must work for the victory of the APC candidate in the Osun Governorship Election on August 15 and continue the task of articulating and disseminating the reforms and achievements of President Tinubu, which are significant and potent enough to ensure Mr. President’s re-election in January 2027. 

“Governor Oyebanji’s first term delivered visible results in infrastructure, agriculture, youth empowerment, healthcare, and education. This renewed mandate is a call on the governor to do more in his second term.
