• Pledges support for 2027 ambition
THE Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Grassroots Movement (ABATGRM), Oyo State chapter, has named the lawmaker representing Ido/Ibarapa Federal Constituency, Honourable Aderemi Oseni, as its grand patron over his remarkable performance and grassroots impact.
The conferment, held during the recently in Ibadan, positioned the federal lawmaker as the movement’s highest-ranking patron in the state ahead of 2027 political calculations.
Speaking during the ceremony, Oyo State coordinator of ABATGRM, Ambassador Abass Gbadamosi, said the honour recognised Oseni’s track record as one of the most influential lawmakers in the 10th National Assembly.
He said: “Honourable Oseni has positively transformed lives across Ido/Ibarapa Federal Constituency through empowerment programmes, developmental initiatives and people-oriented projects.
“These achievements have distinguished him among political leaders and strengthened public confidence in his leadership.”
Also in their separate remarks, the zonal coordinator and state secretary of the movement, Adedeji Kehinde and Babatunde Michael, respectively, also commended the lawmaker’s unwavering dedication to constituency development and urged him to sustain impactful leadership.
They described Oseni as a true grassroots politician whose longstanding dedication to public service earned him the title.
In his response, Honourable Oseni expressed appreciation to ABATGRM for finding him worthy of the grand patron title.
He pledged continued support for the movement and reaffirmed commitment to advancing the welfare and development of his constituents.
