The National Chairman of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) Phase 2, Ibena Rufus Salvation, has appealed to ex-agitators and community stakeholders across the Niger Delta to support the meaningful reforms, transparency, and genuine empowerment achieved under the leadership of Chief Dr Dennis Burutu Otuaro.
Salvation stated that the focus of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) office on the effective implementation of its five-point agenda has recently demonstrated remarkable progress under Chief Dr Otuaro’s leadership.
He noted that since Otuaro assumed office, the Amnesty Programme has taken a new direction characterised by transparency, inclusiveness, youth empowerment, and a renewed commitment to peace and development in the Niger Delta.
Speaking passionately on Otuaro’s five-point agenda on Tuesday, Salvation urged beneficiaries and stakeholders to remain patient and supportive, stressing that the visible results signal greater transformation ahead.
He predicted that the Administrator’s tenure would be remembered as one of the most successful, commending his dedication to meaningful reforms, transparency, and genuine empowerment for ex-agitators and communities across the Niger Delta.
He also stated that Otuaro’s approach reflects a clear commitment to sustainable peace and development in the region.
The national chairman called on all beneficiaries and stakeholders to remain committed and continue supporting the Administrator’s five-point agenda, assuring them that, with time, the benefits of the reforms would become evident.
“I believe in the aims and objectives of Dr Dennis Burutu Otuaro. With a little patience, things will work out for our good soonest,” he said.
He also thanked President Bola Tinubu and the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, for appointing Dr Otuaro, describing the choice as a step in the right direction for peace and progress in the Niger Delta.
