Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has said that governance is a collective effort and not “one man’s business.”
The governor, who also underscored the importance of fostering collaboration between local council chairmen and traditional rulers in addressing community challenges, stated this on Tuesday while on a tour of projects in Takum Local Government Council of the state.
He highlighted the pivotal role traditional rulers play as community leaders and emphasised their crucial input in finding sustainable solutions.
Kefas, who also stressed the necessity of involving traditional rulers in decision-making processes, urged them to collaborate with local council chairmen to redirect the energies of young people.

On their part, traditional rules drawn from the various parts of the state who accompanied him expressed optimism that the initiatives would positively impact the state, addressing various challenges.
They lauded the efforts of Gen Theophilus Y. Danjuma (retd) and the governor, pledging their commitment to supporting developmental endeavours.
