President Bola Tinubu has dismissed the chief government officers of the Federal Competitors and Shopper Safety Fee (FCCPC), Babatunde Irukera, and Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE), Alexander Okoh.
The president made this announcement in an announcement on Monday by means of his spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale.
In accordance with the assertion, the dismissal stems from the administration’s drive to restructure and reposition crucial businesses of the federal authorities.
Ngelale famous that the removing of the people from workplace takes impact instantly.

- “In conformity with plans to restructure and reposition crucial businesses of the Federal Authorities in the direction of defending the rights of Nigerian customers and offering a robust foundation for enhanced contributions to the nation’s economic system by key growth-enabling establishments, President Bola Tinubu has dismissed the next Chief Govt Officers:
- “(1) Mr. Babatunde Irukera — EVC/CEO, Federal Competitors and Shopper Safety Fee (FCCPC)
- “(2) Mr Alexander Ayoola Okoh — Director-Normal/CEO, Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE)
- “The 2 dismissed Chief Executives are directed at hand over to the following most senior officer of their respective businesses, pending the appointment of recent Chief Govt Officers.
- “By this directive of the President, their removing from workplace takes instant impact.”
