The Christian Affiliation of Nigeria, CAN, has staged a peaceable protest over the continual killings in Plateau State and different components of the nation.
The continuing protest is tagged, “Plateau Peace Stroll.”
The peaceable protest is led by the state CAN chairman, Rev Polycarp Lubo, ECWA President, Rev Dr Stephen Baba Panya and COCIN President, Rev. Amos Mohzo.
Others are the Bishop of the Methodist church, Jos; Rev Nkechi Nwosu; President, Gideon and Funmi-ParaMallam Peace Basis, Rev. Dr Gideon ParaMallam amongst different distinguished Christian leaders within the state.
The protesters started the peace stroll on the PRTVC Roundabout in Jos and headed to the Rayfield Authorities Home to register their displeasure over the present safety scenario.
