As part of activities to mark the 2025 Awka Healing and Deliverance Crusade of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre that took place at the Alex Ekwueme Square Awka, Anambra State, on Wednesday and Thursday, the Senior Pastor of the Church, Dr Paul Enenche, has commissioned the newly built Dunamis Centre at Mgbaukwu community in Awka North Local Government Area of the state.
Shortly after the official commissioning of the worship centre, Pastor Enenche, alongside his wife, also donated bags of rice and wrappers to about 700 vulnerable women in the community.
Commissioning the church, Pastor Enenche stressed the importance of giving, saying that it was the responsibility of the church to make a difference and show light to the world by offering humanitarian services where needed.
He highlighted other projects executed by the ministry, including road construction in different communities, boreholes, scholarship awards and donations to the underprivileged across the country.
In his remarks, the Resident Pastor of the newly commissioned church, Pastor Elias Onwe, said the distributed items were fully funded by the church to give succour to the less privileged people in the area.
According to him, since the church commenced service in the area, it has added positive values to the land, a big plus to the community, and it has also reshaped the lives and souls of the people in the community.
He noted that the church, which started its holy services in Anambra in 2020, currently has branches across the 21 local government areas of the state.
Overwhelmed with joy, the beneficiaries in their unanimous appreciation lauded Pastor Enenche and the church for reaching out to society through their humanitarian projects.
They prayed to God to continue to uplift the church in all its doings.
