Former Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, on Sunday said that the PDP G5 group will assist President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027 saying the group has no remorse for supporting the president within the final ballot
The previous governor made this identified on Sunday at a luncheon hosted by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike at his Port Harcourt residence.
Forward of the presidential ballot, Ortom alongside former governors Okezie Ikpeazu, Ifeanyi Ugwanyi, Nyesom Wike, and Governor Seyi Makinde who make up the group rejected Atiku Abubakar because the Peoples Democratic Occasion’s presidential candidate vowing to again a southern candidate.
The ballot was ultimately received by President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress.
Whereas Wike joined Tinub’s cupboard, Ortom, Ikpeazu, and Ugwanyi all misplaced their senatorial bids.
Addressing the gathering at Lucheon, Ortom declared that the PDP G5 will once more again the ex-Lagos governor for a second time period in workplace as Nigeria’s President.
