Two arrested for beating man to death over claims he stole car doors

The Lagos state police command has arrested two males recognized as Yusuf Ahmed, 22, and Olayinka Sanusi, 34, for allegedly beating a person recognized as Sharafadeen Atanda to loss of life within the Surulere space of the state on Thursday, January 4 over claims he stole two automobile doorways.

 

The Iponri Police division acquired a report from the spouse of the deceased that she acquired a name from somebody who said that her husband was being overwhelmed by some individuals who accused him of stealing. 

 

The distraught spouse mentioned on attending to the scene of the incident, she discovered her husband within the pool of his blood. She alleged that the identical individuals who beat him up took him in a tricycle popularly often called Keke NAPEP and that she later heard that her husband died why he was being rushed to the hospital.

 

The DPO on the Iponri police division instantly facilitated the arrest of the 2 suspects and in addition recovered the physique of the deceased that was deserted in a Keke NAPEP. 

 

The physique has since been deposited on the Mainland Hospital Morgue whereas investigation into the matter is ongoing.
