Former Governor of Anambra State, Chris Ngige, has stated that the All Progressives Congress, APC, will take over energy from the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in Anambra in 2025.
Ngige, the fast previous Minister of Labour and Employment, stated this on Saturday whereas talking to newsmen at his house in Alor, Idemili South Native Authorities Space of Anambra State.
Ngige famous that there are two factions of the celebration within the state however maintained that the state of affairs wouldn’t be an issue when the following governorship election comes up in 2025.
He stated: “In fact, there may be APC 1 and [there is] APC 2 within the state. I cannot deny that. I’m each the daddy and face of APC in Anambra. I’m sure that some newcomers have joined us since 2021.
“Get together is sort of a church through which you don’t cease folks from getting into; you don’t cease folks from getting into the celebration to search for salvation or to help the federal government in energy.
“However the problem is that the brand new entrants don’t need to reckon with outdated members who’ve laboured for the celebration. The outdated members laboured for the celebration from the time we had been within the Social Democratic Get together, SDP, to Superior Congress of Democrats, ACD, to Motion Congress, AC, to Motion Congress of Nigeria, ACN, and eventually birthed as APC.”
