The Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule, on Thursday signed the discharge of 14 inmates chosen from throughout the six correctional centres within the state.

Part 212 (1) (a) of the Structure of the Federal Republic of Nigeria says the Governor could grant any individual involved with or convicted of any offence created by any regulation of a state a pardon, both free or topic to lawful situations.
