The Alaafin’s throne, deeply rooted in our shared Yoruba heritage, now enters a new era of promise under your stewardship.”
Continuing, the Oyo Scholars Congress reminded the new Alaafin of the importance of the throne to the Yoruba people, charging him on unity, innovation and collective progress in the modern era.
“As the Alaafin, your ascension carries the profound responsibility of preserving the values and wisdom handed down through generations, while charting a visionary path for the future. The throne of Oyo stands as a rallying point for the Yoruba people, representing not only the strength of our history but also the boundless possibilities for unity, innovation, and collective progress in our modern era.
“This moment is also a call for all Yorubas to come together and celebrate the richness of our shared heritage. In a time when collaboration and unity are more important than ever, we are reminded that our strength lies in fostering mutual respect and working collectively towards the advancement of all our communities.
“At the Oyo Scholars Congress, we are particularly inspired by the possibilities of this new chapter.
