Minister of Women Affairs, Imaan Suleiman-Ibrahim, has congratulated Aisha Maikudi on her well-deserved appointment as the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Abuja.
According to a statement by her media aide, Jonathan Eze, she said Maikudi’s remarkable achievements and dedication to education make her an exemplary role model for women and girls in Nigeria. Her rise through the ranks, from Lecturer II to Professor of International Law, is a testament to her hard work and perseverance.
As the first female Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law, pioneer Director of the University of Abuja International Centre, and now Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Maikudi has consistently broken barriers and paved the way for future generations of women leaders.
The Minister commended Maikudi’s commitment to academic excellence, her contributions to the field of International Law, and her tireless efforts to promote education and empowerment for women and girls.
