The Katsina State Commissioner of Police, Aliyu Musa on Monday decorated a total of 181 newly promoted officers of the Command with their new ranks in a ceremony held at the Command Headquarters, Katsina.
The CP, while congratulating the newly promoted officers on their well-deserved promotion, charged them to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, dedication, integrity, and transparency in the course of their duties.
He further called on friends and families of the promoted officers to continue to accord them support in the discharge of their duties.
“I want to thank the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, and the Chairman Police Service Commission for finding the officers worthy of promotion,” Aliyu said.
Assistant Commissioner of Police, Aminu Abdulkarim, who spoke on behalf of the officers, appreciated the Inspector General of Police and the Chairman of the Police Service Commission for finding them worthy of the promotion and promised to give their best in serving the nation.
He further expressed gratitude to the commissioner of police for his support and mentorship, which had been instrumental in their career growth.
The ceremony witnessed the attendance of senior police officers, family members, and friends of the promoted personnel.
