The media aide to former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, Paul Ibe, has prayed that Amadioha should fire the enemies of Nigerians.
Ibe placed the remark in response to the freedom of activist lawyer, Dele Farotimi.
He described Farotimi as unbroken, unbowed and uncommon.
Posting on X, Ibe wrote: “Unbroken, unbowed, uncommon. Welcome home ahead of Christmas, @DeleFarotimi.
“While you were away, your book, ‘Nigeria and its Criminal Justice System’ (that has been giving them sleepless nights), became a bestseller.
“The truth shall surely slay the evil that has overrun Nigeria. May Amadioha fire the enemies of the people.”
A few days ago, a Chief Magistrate Court in Ado Ekiti had granted Farotimi N30 million bail.
Arogidigba Global Journal reports that the lawyer was arrested earlier in the month for allegedly defaming Afe Babalola, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and founder of Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti, ABUAD.
Farotimi, who was remanded in a correctional centre in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, arrived at the Magistrate Court premises around 9:45 am on Friday amid heavy security presence.
However, Farotimi regained his freedom on Tuesday after meeting his bail conditions.
