The Ogun State Commissioner for Transportation, Engr. Olugbenga Dairo, has called on road users to prioritize safety and responsibility while travelling during the festive season.
In a release, speaking in line with Governor Dapo Abiodun’s ‘Ise Ya’ mantra, which emphasises service and accountability, the Commissioner reminded commuters and transporters of the importance of adhering to traffic rules to ensure a peaceful and joyous Yuletide celebration.
Dairo stated, “Let’s celebrate responsibly, obey traffic rules, avoid speeding, and refrain from driving under the influence. The joy of the season is only complete when lives and properties are safeguarded.”

He commended their contributions to Ogun State’s transportation sector and called for heightened vigilance during the busy holiday season.
Dairo also reassured residents of the state government’s commitment to improving road infrastructure and traffic management, with ongoing projects aimed at making travel safer and more efficient.
